Parent Association
A lively Parents’ Association meets regularly for social events, fund raising and to provide information for new parents.
Examples of recent fund raising events are: Stonewall Folk and Function Band Concert, Richie Remo Concert and dance, Collegiate School Walk, Recipe Book, 10 km Run, Cookery & Flower Arranging Demonstration & Parents Dance.
The Chairperson is Dr. Noel McKenna. The Committee meet on a monthly basis and Mr. Johnston Reid, Principal & Mr.Martin Killoran, Deputy Principal, Mr. Eric Clarke & Mrs. Maureen Windrum are ex-officio members.
Mrs. Sheila McElwaine is Hon. Treasurer with the assistance of Mrs. Annamarie Woods, Hon. Secretary is Mr. Alan Mackarel. Committee members are: Ian Keating, Heather Wilson, David Waller, Mark Gillanders, Gary McAdoo, Garry Nicholl, Nigel Russell, Allen McAdam, Doreen Browne & Vanessa Donaldson.
The AGM was Tuesday 4th October 2016 with motivational guest speaker Mr. Shane Martin. The Association is working on it’s next major fundraiser which is a night with the Stonewall Folk and Function Band, in the Four Seasons Hotel on Friday 3rd February 2017. Details on funds raised are available through the School Office.
