Prefects carry out many duties over the course of the school year. Among them are the following:
- Acting as ambassadors for the school on formal occasions
- Promoting a positive image of the school
- Acting as role models for other students
- Assisting Year heads and Class Teachers with student activities
- Supporting younger students in a pastoral care role
- Organising events and activities for students in the Junior School
- Helping to promote good behaviour and a happy, positive atmosphere in the school
