Educational Day Trips

This term has been a very busy term with pupils attending a number of events.
Some of the December events which have included:
LCVP business visit to the Butlers Museum and Factory in Dublin.
Junior Cycle English attended the Garage Theatre to a production of the Merchant of Venice.
Leaving Cert English attended the Cyclone Repository production of Hamlet.
Trip to production of Anne Frank Diary in the Garage Theatre. The cast included one of our own students David Reay.
Transition Year students are enjoying various outings the most recent being a trip to W5 in Belfast.
Transition Year Mini Companies also displayed and sold their project items at the annual Sale of Work.
School Mini Companies have also been successfully selling their crafts at lunch time during the term.
Leaving Certificate Art group attended the National Gallery of Ireland and the Museum of Natural History in Dublin.
The Choir and String Orchestra have had a busy time performing at Prize Day, Clontibret Church of Ireland Carol Service, St. Patrick’s Church International Carol Service in addition to their annual visits to local nursing homes and our own Carol Service 21st December 2018.
All of this is in addition to the many sporting activities/competitions taking place in the school.
